Great health is my passion

(And it’s not all about food)

Hi, I’m Nat.

Being a Type A personality
is both a blessing and a curse.

As a Type A, I behaved like I was Superwoman. In my late 20s/early 30s, my dynamic thinking and great energy helped me to enjoy a career that I excelled at and live a life full of fun times and exciting adventures.

I honestly believed the world was my oyster and if I could dream it, I could do it!

The only thing I thought was missing was a husband and family. At 33 I met my now hubby, but little did I realise the impact the extra “life lessons” of coming into a dysfunctional family, would have on my health. There is this thinking and way of being – that as “Superwoman” you have to fix everything and save the world.

Becoming chronically ill at 35 was the Universe’s amazing gift to me!

It showed me that it is not my job to fix everything, that some things simply cannot be “fixed” and that the only world I needed to save was my own!

All of the energy and dynamic thinking of my former self was gone. No longer able to work, sleeping 18 hours a day, and the 6 hours I was awake I could not even walk to the letterbox.

Here I was at such a young age, at a crossroad and the most pivotal moment in my life.

This was where my love of natural medicine and modalities began, with a very clever and kind Naturopath guiding me and helping me overcome the illness within 12 months.

Here’s where being Superwoman is a blessing… it gives you an inner strength and courage to fight when the chips are down and everything seems dark. With little to no support from family or friends, I rebuilt my body and continued to be thankful for my strong mind – but knew that in order to move forward in a healthy way, I had to change the way I thought about my new family, my husband and my life.

I knew I would never again return to my previous type of work.

My hubby was involved in a family business, so we took on the Management role together. I studied to become a qualified bookkeeper. Numbers had always interested me and I was good at it.

But it never seemed to quite fulfill me.

The struggle of infertility for the next 3 years was time-consuming, energy-draining, and heartbreaking.

However, in 2012 we were blessed with our one true miracle, our little boy, after naturally conceiving him against all odds.

Acupuncture, herbs and massive health and lifestyle changes helped us achieve bringing him into our world.

One would think that might be enough for a woman who was only 38, but our baby was born prematurely and suffered severe reflux that challenged us over the first 12 months of his life, with some pretty scary moments in amongst it all. Only to discover at 18 months old he had many food intolerances.

All of these “life lessons” were leading me down a path of learning about food, health, the body, the mind, and how they all intertwine to create our experience here on earth.

After studying Functional Nutrition for 2 years and graduating in early 2017, not only did I know how to feed my son and maintain my own health, my greatest passion was born, my business, Leap Into Health.

Nearly 10 years later, my dynamic thinking returned to me. I recognise and believe that as women, we are the heart and soul of our families, playing an integral role in coping and thriving in a time of human existence where life is crazy, busy, stressful, and exhausting.

This is why it’s my passion to help women live their fullest expression of themselves.

Through helping women to enjoy energy in their body, clarity in their mind and confidence in their soul, my own ability to learn and grow as a Coach and Practitioner has been fueled.

My further studies as a DNA Practitioner, an Access Consciousness Bars Practitioner, a Mind Body Eating Coach and an Omega Practitioner – all allow me to offer a comprehensive way of achieving health goals for you, from wherever you are at.

Whether you are at the beginning of your health journey and don’t yet even understand what the numbers on food labels mean, or you’ve had years of trying to feel in control of your diet, of watching every mouthful you take and feeling guilt and shame when you don’t meet your own unrealistic expectations… I know I can help you.

My own life experiences have taught me there is no possible way to “fix” the body – irrespective of if you want it to be a different shape, wear a smaller size of clothing, or be filled with amazing energy each day – without also acknowledging and addressing both the mental and emotional aspects of health.

Understanding and accepting that “Great Health comes in all shapes and sizes” is the first step to unlocking your body’s own innate abilites.  This understanding, combined with addressing your emotional, mental AND physical aspects of health – will allow your body to find its own natural, harmonious balance of weight and vibrant energy.

I can’t wait to support you on your journey in reclaiming your own dynamic ways of thinking and being!
